Not much new

Michael slept peacefully last night. Michael's little brother, Jon and I slept at home with the doggies. Mike's big sister Katie and Barb stayed with Mike at the hospital.

Mike is still on an IV for hydration and swelling meds. Hospice would probably disconnect the IV. So we're trying to come to terms with that and decide if that's what Mike would want. It's very hard.

There is so much love coming your way. I hope Michael can feel the spirit of it holding him. And I wish it could make these hours and days easier for you and your family.
God bless you all.

Mike,

I re-read your entire blog. Where did this grace come from? Funny, hilarious, amazing, genius, life of the party are all adjectives that come to mind. But as much as you are these things, grace now describes you better. Incredible. Speak to your family some how. Let them know what you want. Following your journey and so glad I got to be a part of it for at least a few years.

Dear Davis Family,
Thank you for allowing my mom to share this blog with us. Mike has been a trooper through this whole thing it sounds like. I lost my dad three years ago July. I know what you are going through right now. Wondering can he hear you and what should we do. All of those options fell on me and me alone. Bruce and Barb stay strong for each other that is the only way through this. I know it is hard. I have been there. Please know that we have our church praying for Michael and for your family. My mom has been keeping us updated.
Your in our prayers,
Jennifer and Philip and Emma Harper.
Do you know if Mike is saved. That is the most important thing given the circumstances.

Bruce and Barbara,
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that we are praying for Michael as well as you and the rest of your family. I have asked the Boy Scout Troop to pray as well. In addition between Tracy and me we have the prayer warriors of my church on line and I have shared what is going on through a prayer network at work that I'm a part of. I know that there are currently 100's if not 1000's of people lifting up you and Michael to the Lord. I just wish I could do more. Please, if there is anything that I can do to help you out just let me know and I'll do whatever I can.
